  • 1991 – 1994: Ph.D. program in computer science at the University of Wollongong, Australia. Degree: doctor of philosophy in computer science.
  • 1984 – 1991: Study of computer science (subsidiary subject: electrical engineering) at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. Degree: Diplom-Informatiker (master of science in computer science)

  • Since 2005: Professor for software engineering and project management at Hochschule Darmstadt – University of Applied Sciences and Capgemini sd&m Fellow.
