A. Applied Artificial Intelligence

I am interested in applying AI techniques and semantic technologies to real-world business problems.

  • DBT Benchmarking: Using machine learning in psychotherapy treatment in cooperation with Zentralinstitut f√ľr Seelische Gesundheit (ZI), DBT-Dachverband e.V., Deuschel & Sch√ľller GbR; state funded.
  • ProDok 4.0: Semantic project documentation for manufacturing processes in cooperation with KUKA Robotics, ISRA Vision, DictaJet; federally funded (BMBF)
  • SemAntically integrating Genomics with Electronic health records for Cancer CARE  (SAGE-CARE) in cooperation with NSilico Lifescience Ltd (Ireland), University of Edinburgh, Parallel Computing Centre (United Kingdom), UBITECH Ltd (Greece). EU-funded (Horizon 2020)
  • Multimedia Library Platform / Multimedia Museum Platform in co-operation with St√§del Museum, University & State Library, and others (state funded). Winner of the 2015 World Summit Award, Culture & Tourism; Winner of the 2014 State of Hesse Research Award (Universities of Applied Sciences)
